Get Your Strategic Plan Back On Track When It Goes Off the Rails

Strategic planning is a useful process for identifying goals and aligning resources for the good of our libraries and the agencies they serve. But what happens when the plan stalls, is ignored, or fails to launch in the first place? What can fix a broken strategic plan? The good news is that project management principles can help identify what needs to be done, and how. This webinar will cover: what successful strategic plans have in common, symptoms of problems, how to know if your workplace is actually ready for executing a strategic plan, steps for revising and resurrecting a stalled plan, when to abandon a plan, and when and how to start again.
